This is a journal documenting a Northwoods Writer tracking down some Muse Ferrets thought the Forest of Creative Thought, past Glens of Prose, into Grottoes of Despair, and even encountering a Random Shotgun Welding Raccoon from time to time.
Muse Ferrets are weird creatures, fleeting, rather slippery, hard to catch, and hopelessly fuzzy and satisfying when caught, even if they bite. Observe as the Northwoods Writer, Geo, flails to catch them, with the help of his Fuzzy Counterpart, Ronts, with varying degrees of success.
May you catch your own ferrets soon!
"In general use, a ferret is a domestic ferret (Mustela putorius furo). Several other small, elongated carnivorous mammals belonging to the family Mustelidae (weasels) also have the word "ferret" in their common names, including the endangered black-footed ferret. The ferret is a very close relative of the polecat, but it is as yet unclear whether it is a domesticated form of the European polecat, the Steppe polecat, or some hybrid of the two."
